Students Make Hot Apple Cider for Staff

Students from Mrs. Caroline Oliver's class are continuing an annual tradition of making, selling, and delivering hot apple cider to Carlisle Junior High and Board of Education staff members.

On Friday, October 16, students Nathan Butsch and Brandon Hembree, along with Oliver and Tammy Calvert, delivered cups of delicious hot cider they had made to staff who pre-ordered the drink for $1 a cup. Proceeds are then used to purchase items for the class.

Throughout the year, the class does various projects similar to the cider making. In addition to earning class funds, each project is a fun way for the students to learn skills, as well as positively interact with each other and staff.
