Carlisle Teacher and Local Business Owner Recognized for Excellence

Posted on: March 11, 2020

The Southwest Region of the Ohio School Boards Association held their annual spring conference on March 10, at Warren County Career Center.

At the conference, Carlisle's own Deanne Johnson, a 7th grade English teacher at Chamberlain Middle School, and local business owner Jim Gross, owner of Gross Lumber and strong supporter of Carlisle Local Schools, were each recognized for their achievements in the schools and community.

Johnson was named as “Outstanding Faculty Member.” Gross received the award for “Outstanding Community Business Leader.”

Congratulations to both recipients, and thank you for your hard work and dedication to the students of Carlisle Schools!
