Student Clubs at Carlisle Elementary

We are lucky this year to have several student clubs at Carlisle Elementary. Our 4th grade Writing Club meant weekly with Mrs. Cooley and it has been very successful. Students are excited to produce meaningful stories and poetry that have been shared during morning announcements and throughout the school.
We have an active Kindness Club for grades 4 to 6 that meets monthly and provides various activities for all our students in grades K to 6 to help promote kindness throughout the school. The picture published is a recent picture of our students in the Kindness Club with their new T-shirts. The club is led under the direction of Mrs. Ivey and Mrs. Reilich. They help do recycling for grades 4 to 6 too. Next year we plan to bring back student council in grades 4 to 6 because we believe students should help make decisions about their schooling.
