Nostalgic Walk-Through, School Auction, & Memento Brick Information

Carlisle Local Schools will host a nostalgic final walk-through of our current buildings in the spring. On May 23, all four buildings will be open from 1:30-3:30 p.m. (immediately after commencement) for anyone that wishes to walk the halls of the current Alden Brown Elementary, Grigsby Intermediate, Chamberlain Middle and/or Carlisle High schools one last time.

An auction of desks, and other items that will not be taken to the new school building, is also being planned. Those dates and times will be announced at a later date, once we have finalized dates and times. The first auction, which will be the High School and Alden Brown, will likely be some time around the end of May. Again, stay tuned to our district website for updated information, as we will post specifics when plans are finalized.

On another note, bricks will be available from the Chamberlain building once demolition begins sometime in June. At that time, we will have a pile of bricks placed just outside the construction zone for anyone that wants one, free of charge. Stay tuned as we get closer to June, as we will post a more exact time when it is known.
