Carlisle Local School District is proud to announce Mr. Scott Clodfelter as the new Head Football Coach for Carlisle High School.  Mr. Clodfelter has 25 years of high school coaching experience, 15 years of which he has served as Head Coach.

The past 5 years Coach Clodfelter, turned around a struggling football program at Bethel High School.  His 2017 team finished 9-1 and qualified for the state playoffs for only the second time in school history.  Clodfelter was also named the Miami Valley Football Coaches Association Div. 6 Coach of the Year in both 2016 and 2017.

Prior to Bethel High School, Coach Clodfelter was the Head Football Coach at Beavercreek High School.  During his tenure with the Beavers, he was selected as the G.W.O.C. Central Coach of the Year three times, in 2006, 2007, and 2012 when Beavercreek won its first G.W.O.C Championship in 28 years.  In 2011, Clodfelter was also selected as the Southwest Ohio Div. 1 Football Coach of the Year, as well as the Miami Valley Football Coaches Association Div. 1, Coach of the Year.

“I am thrilled and excited about coaching football at Carlisle,” said Clodfelter.  “I have been fortunate in my career to have been able to turn around several struggling programs. Our program will focus on teamwork, resiliency, competitiveness, enthusiasm, and belief in self.  These attributes are critical to the entire developmental process of young people and the focus on life skills is a huge part of my program.”

Athletic Director, John Augustine said, “I am absolutely thrilled to have Scott Clodfelter as our Head Football Coach.  I am even more excited for our student-athletes, our school and our community in general.”

Clodfelter takes over the Carlisle program, which has been lead by Mike Brown for the past four years.
