Superintendent Entertains Students as Mystery Reader

Posted on: January 15, 2021

On Friday, January 15, Carlisle's Superintendent, Dr. David Vail, entertained third grade students in Mrs. Amanda Miller's classroom by being the "mystery reader" for the day.

Dr. Vail read "Library Mouse" by author Daniel Kirk to the interested and inquisitive group of children. The class was so impressed with Dr. Vail's reading skills, several students asked him to come read to them again.

Dr. Vail encouraged the students after reading the story to remember that they always have the skills themselves to be good writers, too.
