The Carlisle Local Professional Development Committee was established in the fall of 1998 as required by Ohio Senate Bill 230.

Purpose
The Carlisle Local Professional Development Committee’s purpose is to provide a process for educators to create an Individual Professional Development plan that will facilitate professional development that will effectively meet state certification/licensure requirements.

Membership
The LPDC is composed of five members, three teachers selected by the Carlisle Teachers Association and two administrators appointed by the superintendent. The members serve two and three-year terms.

Meetings
The LPDC meets monthly, except during the months of December, June, and July.
