On September 21st ,  Chamberlain Middle School officially received the State Board of Education “Momentum Award”, presented at the High Schools That Work conference in Cincinnati.  Mrs. Deanne Johnson (pictured on the left) accepted the award from Linda Radtke, Regional Coordinator for HSTW in Southwest Ohio.  Chamberlain Middle School was recognized as a school for exceeding expectations in student growth for the year.  Criteria for the award are:  Schools must earn straight A’s on all Value-Added measures on the report card. The school, or district, must have at least two Value-Added subgroups of students, which include gifted, lowest 20% in achievement, and students with disabilities.

We are very proud of our students, teachers, and parents for their hard work at school and at home.  The community should be very proud of this award.  We hope to keep building on our student’s and staff’s success and achievement.
